You have already decided to take an interest in permaculture, probably thinking it is all about gardening,  but it is unlikely that you will be able to be entirely self-sufficient, so how do you shop for other products in a sustainable way?
I can give you some tips and advice on this very subject. A document is available for you to download via the link.
It will provide some answers about changing your shopping habits, having an ethical stance on purchasing goods and how to reduce wastage.
In the document, I have written about:
  • Buying locally – this helps reduce your carbon footprint
  • Reusing bags – you don’t want to add to the landfill problem
  • Avoiding disposable products and those with too much packaging
  • Buying in bulk to save money
  • Buying recycled and recyclable products.
  • And, of course, buying only what you actually need!
Hopefully, my advice will be helpful to you.
